Monday Night's HD Hottie: Hayden Panettiere

Washington, D.C. (April 6, 2009) -- Following our extremely popular contest, 'HD Hottie Hysteria,' we've started a new feature in which we will highlight a top female star every day. The gorgeous female will come from a program that can be seen in gorgeous high-def that very day.

Today's 'HD Hottie' is Hayden Panettiere, who stars tonight in high-def in Heroes on NBC at 9 p.m. ET.

The 19-year-old actress, who was born in Palisades, New York, started as a child actress in such daytime soap operas as One Life to Live and The Guiding Light. She quickly captured a few movie roles (A Bug's Life, Remember the Titans), but it was her casting as the cheerleader in NBC's Heroes that made her a star.

Since Heroes, Hayden has stretched her wings, cutting an album that will be released next year and taking a role in When a Stranger Calls Back, which will be released next year as well. Until then, Hayden is back for a third season of Heroes.
