Today's 'HD Hottie' is Katherine Heigl, who stars tonight in high-def in Grey's Anatomy at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
The 31-year-old actress, who was born in Washington, D.C., got her first big break in the sci-fi drama, Roswell. But it's her role as Dr. "Izzie" in Grey's Anatomy that made her star. Although Katherine criticized her role in the TV drama in 2008, saying the material was too thin to warrant an Emmy nomination, she has returned to Grey's Anatomy for a new season.

In addition to her TV work, Heigl has starred in the films Knocked Up, 27 Dresses, The Ringer and The Ugly Truth. Her next movie is Killers, an action comedy expected to be released this June.
