Jennifer Love Hewitt: Today's HD Hottie

Washington, D.C. (May 9, 2008) -- Following our extremely popular contest, 'HD Hottie Hysteria,' we've started a new feature in which we will highlight a top female star every day. The gorgeous female will come from a program that can be seen in gorgeous high-def that very day.

Today's 'HD Hottie' is Jennifer Love Hewitt, who stars as Melinda Gordon in Ghost Whisperer, which airs tonight in high-def on CBS at 8 p.m. ET.

The 29-year-old actress, who was born in Waco, Texas, got into acting as a child. Her first big break was landing a role in Fox's Party of Five.

But Hewitt also won fame and fortune in such movies as I Know What You Did Last Summer, Heartbreaks and Garfield before landing her role in TV's Ghost Whisperer.
