Today's HD Hottie: Kate Hudson

Washington, D.C. (August 7, 2008) -- Following our extremely popular contest, 'HD Hottie Hysteria,' we've started a new feature in which we will highlight a top female star every day. The gorgeous female will come from a program that can be seen in gorgeous high-def that very day.

Today's 'HD Hottie' is Kate Hudson, who stars tonight in high-def in Almost Famous on Cinemax at 8 p.m. ET.

The 29-year-old actress, who was born in Los Angeles, is the daughter of actress Goldie Hawn. She got her first big break in Cameron Crowe's autobiographical film, Almost Famous, in 2000. She later starred in How to Lose a Guy In 10 Days (with her Fool's Gold co-star Matthew McConaughey) and The Skeleton Key.

She met her real-life boyfriend Owen Wilson on the set of You, Me and Dupree, although the two underwent a celebrated break-up. (She also was once married to Black Crowes lead singer Chris Robinson and reportedly is now dating Lance Armstrong.)

Her next film is My Best Friend's Girl, opposite Dane Cook, which is scheduled to be released later this year.
