Angelina Jolie: Today's HD Hottie

Washington, D.C. (May 25, 2008) -- Following our extremely popular contest, 'HD Hottie Hysteria,' we've started a new feature in which we will highlight a top female star every day. The gorgeous female will come from a program that can be seen in gorgeous high-def that very day.

Today's 'HD Hottie' is Angelina Jolie, who stars today in high-def in Girl, Interrupted, at 5:45 p.m. ET on Cinemax.

The 32-year-old actress, who was born in Los Angeles, is the daughter of actor Jon Voight. She started as a fashion model, but got her first big break in the 1997 TV film, George Wallace, as the wife of the Alabama governor, who was played by Gary Sinese.

Angelina soon soared to stardom in films such as Gia, Pushing Tin and the Lara Croft series. Her private life, though, has sometimes shared the stage as she has hopped from one high-profile beau to the other (Billy Bob Thornton, Brad Pitt, etc.)
