April 12: January Jones, The HD Hottie

Washington, D.C. (April 12, 2009) -- Following our extremely popular contest, 'HD Hottie Hysteria,' we've started a new feature in which we will highlight a top female star every day. The gorgeous female will come from a program that can be seen in gorgeous high-def that very day.

Today's 'HD Hottie' is January Jones, who stars tonight in high-def in We Are Marshall at 12:50 p.m. ET on Cinemax.

The 31-year-old actress, who was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, got her first big break in the 2003 comedy American Wedding. But she also shined in several small roles in such movies as Anger Management, Love Actually and Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights.

She captured greater attention playing a coach's wife in the 2006 football movie, We Are Marshall. But it was her casting as the 1960s suburban wife of advertising executive Don Draper in AMC's Mad Men that made her a star.

Her next film will be The Boat That Rocked, scheduled for release in 2009, and she will return for season three of Mad Men this summer.
