Today's 'HD Hottie' is Mia Kirshner, who stars tonight in high-def in The L Word at 10 p.m. ET on Showtime.
The 33-year-old actress, who was born in Toronto, Canada, got her first big break with a small role in The Crow. But she started to gain attention when she played a bisexual assassin in Fox's 24 in 2001.
She later starred in the title role in The Black Dahlia movie directed by Brian De Palma. But she has generated fame and fortune playing lesbian again in Showtime's lesbian drama, The L Word. She has been a regular on the show from the beginning.
