Feb. 8: Kristin Kreuk, The HD Hottie

Washington, D.C. (February 8, 2010) -- Following our extremely popular contest, 'HD Hottie Hysteria,' we've started a new feature in which we will highlight a top female star every day. The gorgeous female will come from a program that can be seen in gorgeous high-def that very day.

Today's 'HD Hottie' is Kristin Kreuk, who stars today in high-def in Chuck on NBC at 8 p.m. ET.

The 27-year-old actress, who was born in Vancouver, Canada, got her first big break when a casting director spotted her in high school and cast her in the Canadian drama, Edgemont. Kristin then landed the starring role as Snow White in an ABC movie and had smaller roles in such films as Euro Trip.

But Kristin's rise in Hollywood really began when she was cast as Clark Kent's girlfriend, Lana Lang, in the CW series, Smallville. She left the series in 2008 but has now been cast to appear in several episodes of NBC's Chuck.
