Friday's HD Hottie: Diane Kruger

Washington, D.C. (November 21, 2008) -- Following our extremely popular contest, 'HD Hottie Hysteria,' we've started a new feature in which we will highlight a top female star every day. The gorgeous female will come from a program that can be seen in gorgeous high-def that very day.

Today's 'HD Hottie' is Diane Kruger, who stars tonight in high-def in National Treasure: Book of Secrets at 7:55 p.m. ET on Starz.

The 32-year-old actress, who was born in Germany, started as a fashion model, but got her first big cinematic break in the 2004 epic adventure film Troy with Brad Pitt and Orlando Bloom. Following the success of that film, Diane was cast in Wicker Park and National Treasure. She then reprised her National Treasure role as a curator in the two sequels.

Diane recently was signed to star in Quentin Tarantino's new war film, Inglorious Bastards, which is scheduled to be released in the summer of 2009.
