November 2: Ali Larter, The HD Hottie

Washington, D.C. (November 2, 2009) -- Following our extremely popular contest, 'HD Hottie Hysteria,' we've started a new feature in which we will highlight a top female star every day. The gorgeous female will come from a program that can be seen in gorgeous high-def that very day.

Today's 'HD Hottie' is Ali Larter, who stars tonight in high-def in Heroes on NBC at 8 p.m. ET.

The 33-year-old actress, who was born in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, started as a model, but got her first big break when she was cast as a fictional model in an Esquire Magazine hoax in 1996. The hoax led to small roles in the TV series Suddenly, Susan, Dawson's Creek and Just Shoot Me.

She later starred in the Final Destination movie series, but she hit it big when she was cast as the split-personality prostitute in NBC's sci-fi series Heroes in 2006. She has returned this year for the fourth season of Heroes.

Her last film was Obsessed, in which she stars opposite Beyonce Knowles. But she will also star in Resident Evil Afterlife, the sequel to Resident Evil Extinction, expected to be released next year.
