The actress stars tonight in Lost.
By Allison Moore

Washington, D.C. (April 8, 2009) -- Following our extremely popular contest, 'HD Hottie Hysteria,' we've started a new feature in which we will highlight a top female star every day. The gorgeous female will come from a program that can be seen in gorgeous high-def that very day.

Today's 'HD Hottie' is Lost's Evangeline Lilly, who will star in high-def in Lost on ABC at 9 p.m. ET.

The 29-year-old actress, who was born in Canada, plays Kate Austin in Lost, a sweet but mysterious femme fatale who's torn between good (Jack) and evil (Sawyer).

Lilly had just a handful of small roles before getting her big break in Lost and the actress has since been nominated for a Golden Globe. She will also star in the indie film, The Hurt Locker, expected for release this year.
