Today's 'HD Hottie' is Rose McGowan, who stars tonight (early morning of June 26) in high-def in Grindhouse at 12:30 a.m. ET on Starz Edge.
The 34-year-old actress, who was born in Florence, Italy, started as a child model before turning to acting in her late teens. Her first big break was being cast in Pauly Shore's Encino Man in 1992. But she began catching the attention of the critics -- and male viewers -- in the 1996 horror spoof Scream.
She later won praise for her role as a bitchy high school student in Jawbreakers and captured fame and fortune when she landed a starring role in the WB hit Charmed.
Rose also was the target of tabloids when she was engaged to eccentric rock star Marilyn Manson, but she broke off the relationship. The actress is now engaged to director Robert Rodriguez, who helmed a Grindhouse segment.
