August 3: Leighton Meester, The HD Hottie

Washington, D.C. (August 3, 2009) -- Following our extremely popular contest, 'HD Hottie Hysteria,' we've started a new feature in which we will highlight a top female star every day. The gorgeous female will come from a program that can be seen in gorgeous high-def that very day.

Today's 'HD Hottie' is Leighton Meester, who stars tonight as Blair in high-def in Gossip Girl at 9 p.m. on the CW.

The 23-year-old actress, who was born in Marco Island, Florida, started as teenage actress in such TV dramas as Law & Order, Boston Legal, 24, Entourage and Family Affair. She also took small film roles in Drive-Thru and Remember the Daze.

She was cast as Blair in Gossip Girl in 2007 and she returned to Entourage as her original character from 2004. Her last movie was Killer Movie, which was released last year. She will play Rebecca in the movie Roommate and it was just announced that she will star in Date Night with Steve Carrel and Tina Fey.

There are also rumors flying that Leighton was captured in a sex video which is now being shopped around to Internet sites, TMZ.com reports.
