Today's 'HD Hottie' is Eva Mendes, who stars tonight in high-def in The Ultimate Trailer Show on HDNet at 8 p.m. ET.
The 35-year-old actress, who was born in Miami, started acting in music videos before getting her first big break in 2001 in Training Day with Denzel Washington.
Mendes has since starred in such movies as Once Upon a Time, Hitch, We Own the Night and Out of Time (again with Denzel Washington.) She recently grabbed headlines for appearing without clothes in a print ad campaign for PETA.

Her most recent film was The Spirit, based on a Frank Miller graphic novel. She also starred in The Women, released in December 2008, and she is now starring in a steamy advertising campaign for Calvin Klein.
Her next film will be Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans with Nicholas Gage in the starring role; it's scheduled for release on November 20.
