Michelle Monaghan: Today's HD Hottie

Washington, D.C. (August 20, 2008) -- Following our extremely popular contest, 'HD Hottie Hysteria,' we've started a new feature in which we will highlight a top female star every day. The gorgeous female will come from a program that can be seen in gorgeous high-def that very day.

Today's 'HD Hottie' is Michelle Monaghan, who stars tonight in high-def in Gone Baby Gone at 11 p.m. ET on Starz.

The 32-year-old actress, who was born in Winthrop, Iowa, started as a model, but got her first big break as an actress starring in the TV series, Boston Public. She then appeared in several indie films before landing the part of Tom Cruise's girlfriend in Mission Impossible III.

Michelle later starred in The Heartbreak Kid along side Ben Stiller and Gone Baby Gone with Casey Affleck. Her next film is Eagle Eye, a terrorist-themed drama in which she will co-star with Shia LeBeouf.
