May 24: Danica Patrick, The HD Hottie

Washington, D.C. (May 24, 2009) -- Following our extremely popular contest, 'HD Hottie Hysteria,' we've started a new feature in which we will highlight a top female star every day. The gorgeous female will come from a program that can be seen in gorgeous high-def that very day.

Today's 'HD Hottie' is Danica Patrick, who competes today in the Indianapolis 500 at noon p.m. ET on ABC.

The 27-year-old driver, who was born in Roscoe, Illinois, started go-karting at the age of 10 and then moved to England at 16 to work on her professional racing career. In 2002, she joined the Indy circuit.

Danica has one Indy series victory and has finished as high as 8th in the Indy 500. But it's her position as a female driver that has both generated controversy and captured fans across the globe.
