Tuesday's HD Hottie: Poppy Montgomery

Washington, D.C. (November 18, 2008) -- Following our extremely popular contest, 'HD Hottie Hysteria,' we've started a new feature in which we will highlight a top female star every day. The gorgeous female will come from a program that can be seen in gorgeous high-def that very day.

Today's 'HD Hottie' is Poppy Montgomery who stars tonight in high-def in Without a Trace at 10 p.m. ET on CBS.

The 36-year-old actress, who was born in Australia, got her first big break playing Marilyn Monroe in the 2001 CBS miniseries Blonde, which was based on the novel by Joyce Carol Oates.

But Poppy also starred in 50 Ways to Leave Your Lover and Between before landing her plum assignment as agent 'Sam' Spade in Without a Trace.
