April 30: Jaime Pressly, The HD Hottie

Washington, D.C. (April 30, 2009) -- Following our extremely popular contest, 'HD Hottie Hysteria,' we've started a new feature in which we will highlight a top female star every day. The gorgeous female will come from a program that can be seen in gorgeous high-def that very day.

Today's 'HD Hottie' is Jaime Pressly, who stars tonight in high-def on My Name Is Earl on NBC at 8 p.m. ET.

The 31-year-old actress, who was born in Kinston, North Carolina, started as a teenage model, but quickly shifted to acting, landing parts in Poison Ivy: The New Seduction and the TV series Jack and Jill.

She then won tabloid headlines by engaging in a lesbian scene with Tiffany Amber Thiessen in the Fox TV show Fastlane and posing nude for Playboy.

Her first big break, though, was being cast as Joy, ex-wife to lead actor Jason Lee, in My Name Is Earl in 2005 where her comedic abilities have shined; she won an Emmy in 2007 for her role. She also appeared this year in the movie, I Love You, Man, which also starred Paul Rudd.
