Today's 'HD Hottie' is Jessica Simpson, who stars tonight in high-def on Late Night With David Letterman at 11:35 p.m. on CBS.
The 29-year-old singer/actress, who was born in Abilene, Texas, started as a teenage gospel singer, but her country-tinged pop music quickly rose her to stardom. After several #1 albums, Jessica teamed with then husband Nick Lachey in 2003 to do the MTV reality show, Newlyweds, Nick and Jessica.

The reality show, which featured Jessica in the dumb blonde role, led her to Hollywood where she has starred in such films as The Dukes of Hazzard and Employee of the Month. Her most recent film, Major Movie Star, went straight to DVD.
Jessica next will star in a VH1 reality TV series, which debuts on March 15, called The Price of Beauty. The show will examine what women will do to make themselves look beautiful.
