Monday's HD Hottie: Summer Glau

Washington, D.C. (August 18, 2008) -- Following our extremely popular contest, 'HD Hottie Hysteria,' we've started a new feature in which we will highlight a top female star every day. The gorgeous female will come from a program that can be seen in gorgeous high-def that very day.

Today's 'HD Hottie' is Summer Glau, who stars tonight in high-def in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles at 9 p.m. ET on Fox.

The 27-year-old actress, who was born in San Antonio, Texas, got her first big break in the sci-fi series, Firefly. But she also starred in The 4400 before landing her big role as the teasing Terminator Cameron Philips in Fox's new TV series, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. The show's second season will debut on September 8.

Over the year, Summer, who was originally trained as a ballerina, has also appeared in such movies and TV shows as Angel, Cold Case, The Unit and CSI.
