September 1: Taylor Swift, The HD Hottie

Washington, D.C. (September 1, 2010) -- Following our extremely popular contest, 'HD Hottie Hysteria,' we've started a new feature in which we will highlight a top female star every day. The gorgeous female will come from a program that can be seen in gorgeous high-def that very day.

Today's 'HD Hottie' is Taylor Swift, who stars in high-def tonight on the CMA Music Festival, which airs on ABC at 8 p.m. ET

The 20-year-old singer, who was born in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, learned how to play the guitar from a computer repairman when she was a child. She released her first single, Tim McGraw, in 2006 and it leaped to #6 on the Billboard charts.

Swift later in 2006 released her first album, entitled Taylor Swift, which became number one on the country music category of Billboard. Her second album, Fearless, has won multiple awards and sold millions.

Taylor will soon release her third album, Speak Now.
