Liv Tyler: Sunday's HD Hottie

Washington, D.C. (November 9, 2008) -- Following our extremely popular contest, 'HD Hottie Hysteria,' we've started a new feature in which we will highlight a top female star every day. The gorgeous female will come from a program that can be seen in gorgeous high-def that very day.

Today's 'HD Hottie' is Liv Tyler who stars today in high-def in Reign Over Me at 1:50 p.m. ET on Starz.

The 31-year-old actress, who was born in New York, is the daughter of Aerosmith leader singer Steven Tyler. She started as a teenage model, appearing in commercials and music videos (including one for Aerosmith's song Crazy opposite Alicia Silverstone.) She later starred in several movies including Dr. T & the Women, Armageddon and Robert Altman's Cookie's Fortune.

But her first big starring role came when she was cast in the Lord of the Rings trilogy in which she played the princess Arwen. After a short break from Hollywood, Tyler has since starred in The Incredible Hulk with Edward Norton, Reign Over Me and The Strangers.
