August 13: Olivia Wilde, The HD Hottie

Washington, D.C. (August 13, 2009) -- Following our extremely popular contest, 'HD Hottie Hysteria,' we've started a new feature in which we will highlight a top female star every day. The gorgeous female will come from a program that can be seen in gorgeous high-def that very day.

Today's 'HD Hottie' is Olivia Wilde, who stars tonight in high-def in House at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.

The 25-year-old actress, who was born in New York, is the daughter of a 60 Minutes producer. She got her first big break in Fox's The O.C playing the bisexual Alex Kelly. (Transformers' Megan Fox recently said she would like to have an affair with her.)

But she won critical praise for her role as Jenny Reilly in the short-lived NBC drama The Black Donnellys. In addition to Alpha Dogs, she has appeared in The Girl Next Door and she is now a regular on Fox's drama, House. Olivia also appeared as a supporting player in 2009's The Year One with Jack Black and Michael Cera.
