May 26: Evan Rachel Wood, The HD Hottie

Today's 'HD Hottie' is Evan Rachel Wood, who stars tonight in high-def in Across the Universe at 9 p.m. ET on Starz Edge.

The 21-year-old actress, who was born in Raleigh, North Carolina, got her first big break at 15 when she starred in the critically-acclaimed Thirteen. She followed up that role with parts in Pretty Persuasion, The Upside of Anger and King of California.

She again generated strong critical praise for her roles in Across the Universe and The Wrestler. She should return to spotlight again next month when she stars in Woody Allen's Whatever Works, which also stars Larry David of HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm.
