The publication says the flat-screen set, which can be purchased online for $1,885, delivers "a super rich picture for a beautiful price."
However, Business Week cautions that the audio doesn't match the great picture.
"Two detachable 8-watt speakers have to be manually screwed onto the side," the article states. "They look a bit cheap, and we had a problem getting the sound to come out evenly from both ends. We're still not sure what the problem was, but no amount of playing with the device could make it sound like true stereo."
However, the publication raves about the picture and the price, which is considerably lower than most 50-inch Plasma HDTVs.
"The television produces high-quality pictures with rich blacks, vibrant blues and greens, and nice natural tones. In other words, no orange- or yellow-tinted people," Business Week says.
"All in all, this TV scored high points for picture, but loses standing when it comes to sound. Still, when you consider the price and the fact that it comes with a one-year parts warranty, it's a good value."
