Katie 'Purrs' As a Stage Kitten

My OH My! I always knew I liked things that sparkled and were shiny! Lucky for me I got to see both when I went to The 3 of Clubs in Hollywood for their Burlesque Night! My show Deadline! (Friday, November 30, 8 p.m. ET on HDNet) decided to volunteer me as a 'Stage Kitten' which meant I had to get all dressed up and then crawl around on the stage after each girl disrobed. My job was to pick up all the panties, bras, gloves, garters, tassles -- you name it, I grabbed it! Make sure you tune in Friday November 30th to see everything in glorious high def. You'll see boobs shaking, skin glowing and glitter shining! I think this is why HD was invented: BURLESQUE!

Katie Welcomes Vallejo on True Music

I can't wait for smell-o-vision to be a reality, cause HDTV is so bad ass looking, the only thing missing is the realistic smells! LOL.

Seriously though, 'True Music' this Sunday (Nov. 4) on HDNet has some good looking stuff that would create good and bad smells. First off you're gonna see the beach in Cabo, people drinking up good stuff on a booze cruise, and ATV racing. But then you are always going to see a great concert from the band Vallejo. They used to be signed to Sony but they are now doing their music independently. The band has some cool insight on what works in the business these days and also a neat hindsight 20/20 perspective on rises to the top and then starting all over again from scratch. I hope you get to watch!

Katie Gets Sheepish

Some things always look good in high def: concerts, exotic locations, hot chicks....and puppies!

Deadline! had me enter a pet costume contest and I went as Little Bo Peep and my dog dressed as my sheep! This segment looks great so many pets big and small dressed up with their ridiculous owners. Plus the story is funny, you can only imagine the "characters" that you meet at these things! Tune in this Friday night (Nov. 2) at 8:30EST, 5:30PST on HDNet.

The Band Out of Their 'Gourd'

OK gang, this Sunday on HDNet (October 14, 8 p.m. ET) I have a great concert set up for you -- it's all High Def ( duh) and it has 5.1 surround sound. The band is "The Gourds" from Austin Texas; they play a great mix of jam-rock-country.

But the real scoop is the personality pot-pie these guys bring to the stage! They love to drink and they love to joke. The first time I interviewed these guys, it was like 'herding cats.' I would talk to one guy while another was digging through a fanny pack trying to roll a cigarette making tons of noise. This second meeting with the band was just as crazy. I don't think we got a single complete sentence or answer out of the band since they were fooling around, wrestling and rambling about whiskey the entire time. But who cares!?!?! When the curtains open and the lights flash on the stage, the concert is awesome, full or energy and makes total sense!

Katie Daryl Welcomes Blues Traveler

Hello friends! How fun is it to hang with rock stars? Let me tell you! On True Music w/ Katie Daryl this Sunday (8 p.m. ET) on HDNet I'll show you some great concerts, 2 of my favorite are from Blues Traveler and Bowling for Soup. Both bands were a ton of fun and the HD footage looks great with cool lights, big stages and fun smoke effects. When I interviewed John Popper from Blues Traveler we had a small case of terets and couldn't stop using the word PORN in sentences, it became an on going joke as we tried to work it into the conversation. John also gloated about talking his way out of a speeding ticket, while I had to admit that my charms are lacking and I always get written up! As for Bowling for Soup...those guys are like living inside the movie 'Waynes World' they say things that are silly and they make weird references and head nods to the camera all the time. A little fact about the band...a few years back they were nominated for a Grammy and on that same day Jarret ( the lead singer) also became a dad for the first time- talk about a Big Day!

Did Katie Say...Bikini Clad Women?

Rum is YUM! I stopped by Tiki Ti's in Los Angeles to try out some of their crazy tropical drinks so that Deadline! could celebrate the end of summer. And how DOES Deadline celebrate the end of summer? By showing you all the fun we've had over the last months including tons of bikini clad women and half naked festival go-ers. Plus you get to laugh at me as I try to learn how to surf, belly dance and work out using the Cardio STRIP TEASE method. We've got tons of skin lined up on this show (Oct. 12 on HDNet), so make sure your HD screens are turned on for the action.

Katie Goes to the Red Bull Air Races

So this Friday (Oct. 5) on Deadline! prepare yourselves for some frickin' awesome HD footage. You see giant puffy white clouds scattered in a blue sky over sparkling water where crazy ass stunt planes are zooming in and out of obstacles just 10 feet over the water and helicopters flying UPSIDE DOWN! You have to tune in to the show to see every single one of those things. Deadline went to San Diego for the Red Bull Air Races and it was amazing. Not only were the pilots and planes a true spectacle to watch as they did daredevil moves, but the people were soaking up the fun...and the beer which always makes for a fun show!

Katie Plays Drag Bingo!

And KATIE was her name-o. I threw in my money and played some Drag Bingo in West Hollywood for Deadline! What is 'Drag Bingo' you ask? Well, it's bingo but hosted by a Drag queen named 'Bridgett of Madison County' and you get to win fabulous prizes, but if you win you must run through the bar while people throw their losing cards at you!

Katie Goes Wild in Vegas!

Vegas baby!!! I hopped a flight to Vegas with the Deadline crew (including one of my HOT producers Lindsay seen above, and yes I am playing her leg like a guitar). We decided to roll the cameras on some crazy SH!T for you, all HD of course. Check out Deadline this Friday (August 10) on HDNet to see the weekly Friday pool party called 'Ditch' at the Palms. Some of the bikinis were invisible in person, maybe we'll get a better look in high def. Also, I got to play blackjack with not 1 but 2 Playboy Bunnies. Hubba Hubba.
