Looking for a smaller flat-screen HDTV for the living
room?
LG's
32-inch 32LX1D LCD could be the answer, according to a
review by CNET.com.
The web site says the set delivers "decent black level
for an LCD (and) relatively accurate out of the box
color temperature." CNET gives the LG flat-screen a
score of 7.3 out of a possible 10.
The LG 32-inch retails for around $1,500, but might be
available for less online.
CNET also notes that the set includes a CableCard slot;
a TV Guide electronic programming guide; and one HDMI
connection.
On the down side, though, the site says the set is a
little expensive for a 32-inch flat-screen and the TV
Guide service is "unreliable." In addition, the picture
does not rival larger-screen, more expensive sets.
