That's according to an article by Video Business.
The publication reports that the set-top, which can play both Blu-ray and HD DVD discs, will also be added to more Circuit City stores at that time.
LG's player, which is designed to appeal to high-def owners leery of picking the wrong format in the Blu-ray vs. HD DVD battle, was introduced earlier this year but its retail availability has been somewhat limited.
"(In January) we started at Circuit City and Best Buy, and then we branched out to selected regional dealers in March,” John Taylor, vice president of public affairs at LG, told Video Business. “We’re building up production now. The consumer reaction is terrific and sell-through is strong. Things will be really widespread in June.”

Taylor refused
to disclose current sales figures for the dual-format
player, according to Video Business.
The set-top is priced at $1,199, which is more than a
standalone Blu-ray or HD DVD player.
“It is a relatively high
price product, but it has not been an impediment,” said
Taylor. “We think it’s a good value. … Finally, there is a
product on the market that declares peace in the format war.
We think this reduces consumer hesitancy to jump into the
market.”
