CNET Raves About Mitsubishi's 65-Inch DLP
The web site gives the large-screen set a score of 8.6 out of a possible 10.
By Phillip Swann

Washington, D.C. (January 3, 2007) -- Mitsubishi's new 65-inch DLP HDTV is a "superb" set for the high-end buyer.

That's according to a review by CNET.

The technology web site gives the rear projection 1080p HDTV a score of 8.6 out of a possible 10.

CNET says the Mitsubishi WD-65831 "produces deep blacks with excellent shadow detail; greatly reduced 'rainbow effect' compared to other DLPs; (and) resolves every line of 1080i-resolution sources."

Mitsubishi's 65-inch looks sharp in any living room.

The Mitsubishi set also has two HDMI inputs and a 1080p DVI input.

On the down side, CNET says the set is expensive (retail price is roughly $3,500); and can deliver "inaccurate" primary colors.

But, overall, the site says its excellent picture quality and sleek design "make it worth the price to high-end buyers."
