Washington, D.C. (February 4, 2015) - Major League Baseball has announced that its MLB.TV online package of regular season games is now for sale at the same price as the last two years -- $109.99
The $109.99 package provides every 'out-of-market' regular season game (opening day: April 6) as well as more than 200 live spring training games, which will begin March 3.
The MLB.TV premium plan, which costs $129.99, includes a free subscription to the league's AtBat app as well as full portability to more than 400 streaming devices, including the Play Station 3 and 4, iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Android phones, Roku, XBox One and XBox 360, among others.
The $109.99 plan is not available on the connected devices, the league says. In addition, the premium plan gives the viewer a choice of the home or away feed of each game.
MLB says that premium subscribers will also be able to stream every game of the World Series and the 86th All-Star Game, which will be played in July.
MLB, in conjunction with its pay TV partners, have yet to reveal details of this season's Extra Innings package, which offers all 'out-of-market' regular season games on cable, satellite and telco TV. It's also unclear if the pay TV operators will include MLB.TV as part of the Extra Innings package, as some have done in the past.
