Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert Go HD In Jan

Washington, D.C. (December 17, 2009) -- Comedy Central will begin broadcasting The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and The Colbert Report starring Stephen Colbert in High-Definition on January 4.

That's according to an article by Multichannel News.

Comedy Central has been available in high-def for nearly a year, but the network has not produced arguably its two most popular shows in HD until now.

Once the switch to HD occurs, The Daily Show and The Colbert Report will join South Park, The Sarah Silverman Program and Important Things With Demetri Martin in Comedy Central's high-def lineup.
