-- Which TV provider will have the most High-Definition
TV channels at the end of the year?
The answer: DIRECTV, according to the readers of TVPredictions.com.
TVPredictions.com conducted an online poll over the weekend, asking the question: "On January 1, 2008, Who Will Have More HDTV Channels?"
The choices were:

4. All will have roughly the same number.

DIRECTV has said it will offer 100 national HDTV channels by year's end. The satcaster will launch at least one new satellite this year to increase its high-def capacity.
While our poll is not scientific, the results show that DIRECTV's marketing campaign to promote its high-def expansion is paying off.
Time Warner Cable and Comcast have suggested they will have the capacity to offer up to 100 channels at year's end as well. But our online poll indicates that many high-def owners are uncertain about that boast.
Note: Telco TV services AT&T and Verizon, which have less than 500,000 subscribers combined, were not included in our poll. More than 800 TVPredictions.com readers participated in the poll.
