Roku Wants You to Hulu
By Swanni

Washington, D.C. (June 3, 2012) -- Roku, the Net TV service, is offering an interesting deal on its Roku HD set-top. The box normally costs $59.99, but if you're willing to fork over $79.99, Roku will throw in six months of Hulu Plus and a $9.99 HDMI cable.

Roku estimates that the entire bundle would go for $127.91 if you purchased each item separately. (Six months of Hulu Plus would cost $47.94.) By paying $79, the company says you would save almost $48.

The company is offering the special package for 13 more days and it includes free shipping (a $9.99 value).

Roku, which streams HD video in 720p, offers a large library of Net TV services including Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, Crackle, Pandora, CNBC, Wall Street Journal Live, MLB.TV, NBA Game Time and Epix.
