Feb. 27: Swanni's 10 Hottest Shows In HDTV!

Washington, D.C. (February 27, 2010) -- High-Definition TVs are now in more than 40 million U.S. homes and there are scores of high-def programming choices.

But which shows should you watch? And why?

Every day here at TVPredictions.com, I scan the HD programming aisles and serve up 10 programs so good -- so hot! -- that you can't miss them. Sports, movies, primetime comedies and drama -- they're all there and in beautiful high-def.

We call this list, "The Hottest Shows in HDTV!" And here they are for Saturday, February 27, 2010. (All times Eastern -- and don't forget the link below to today's 'HD Hottie -- in fact, today there are 4 of them.)

1. College Basketball Doubleheader
Michigan at Ohio State, followed by Texas at Texas A&M.
ESPN, noon.

2. College Basketball Tripleheader
Notre Dame at Georgetown, followed by North Carolina at Wake Forest, followed by Kansas at Oklahoma State.
CBS, Noon.

. Winter Olympics
Daytime coverage today starts at 1 p.m. and includes cross country skiing, speed skating and snowboarding. Primetime coverage starts at 8 p.m. and features figure skating, skiing and the bobsled.

Primetime coverage starts at 8 p.m. on NBC. Also see coverage during the day on NBC and other NBC-owned networks such as MSNBC, Bravo, etc.

4. College Basketball
Mississippi at Alabama.

ESPN 2,
2 p.m.

5. NASCAR Racing
The Sam's Town 300 from Las Vegas. This is Danica Patrick's last NASCAR race before she returns to the IndyCar circuit; she will come back to NASCAR in the summer.

9. Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Jason Segel shines in this funny albeit frothy farce about a musician whose dream vacation in Hawaii goes wrong when he runs into his ex-girlfriend and her new lover. Kristen Bell plays the obligatory hot ex while Mila Kunis (That's 70s Show) plays the obligatory hot new love interest. Russell Brand and SNL's Bill Hader deliver the funny in support.

10. Saturday Night Live (new)
Jennifer Lopez will host and deliver a musical interlude or two.
