Bonus Picks:
The Invasion
Nicole Kidman and Daniel (007) Craig star in this 2007 remake of the Invasion of the Body Snatchers. The plot is as farfetched as it gets -- space aliens take over human bodies -- but Kidman and Craig exhibit some real chemistry and the action scenes are top-notch despite a series of personnel changes behind the camera.

HBO 2 West, 7 p.m.
College Football
Auburn at LSU.
ESPN 2, 7:30 p.m.
MLB Baseball Playoff
Angels at Yanks in game six.
Fox, 7:30 p.m.
6. College Football
Florida at Mississippi State.
ESPN, 7:30 p.m.
7. Milk
Sean Penn shines in this absorbing (albeit somewhat preachy) drama about the 1970s gay activist Harvey Milk who was assassinated by a twisted San Francisco politician named Dan White (played perfectly by Josh Brolin.) It was the political event that proved once and for all that Twinkies don't go well with Milk, in real life and the courtroom apparently. (History buffs will get that decidedly un-PC remark.)
HBO, 8 p.m.
8. Paul Blart: Mall Cop
Kevin James finally gets his breakout role as a pretentious but lovable security guard in a shopping mall. The movie is dumb, silly and devoid of social meaning -- but it's funny as hell. If you need a good laugh on a Saturday night, don't miss it.
Starz, 9 p.m.
9. Burn After Reading
The Coen Brothers go comedic again in this slapstick farce about a vain pair of gym employees who steal a secret government disc and try to hold it for ransom. Funnier than it sounds, the movie stars George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Francis McDormand and the always flawless John Malkovich as the agent in distress.
Cinemax, 10 p.m.
10. Saturday Night Live (repeat)
Megan Fox hosts in this encore performance from the season's first show. U2 will deliver a musical interlude or two, or three.

NBC, 11:35 p.m.
