Every day here at TVPredictions.com, I scan the HD programming aisles and serve up 10 programs so good -- so hot! -- that you can't miss them. Sports, movies, primetime comedies and drama -- they're all there and in beautiful high-def.

We call this list, "The Hottest Shows in HDTV!" And here they are for Saturday, December 5, 2009: (All times Eastern -- and don't forget the link below to today's 'HD Hottie -- in fact, today there are 8 of them.

Cincinnati at Pittsburgh.
ABC, Noon.

2. College Football
West Virginia at Rutgers.

3. College Basketball

Bonus Picks:
Shoot Em' Up
Clive Owen stars as a mysterious gunman who accidentally becomes the protector of a babe (Monica Bellucci) and her baby. Paul Giamatti chews the scenery into little bits as an assassin hired to kill the babe. Fun albeit cartoonish flick.

Mission Impossible III
Tom Cruise stars in the third in the trilogy based on the 1960s TV series about a group of master spies. Directed by J. J. Abrams, the creator of ABC's Lost. Michelle Monaghan plays Cruise's obligatory hot wife while Keri Russelll plays an obligatory hot IMF agent taken hostage by the bad guys. Fun film with strong supporting performances from Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jonathan Rhys Meyers (The Tudors), Ving Rhames and the exotic beauty Maggie Q.

6. College Football
South Florida at Connecticut.
ESPN2, 8 p.m.

7. Taken
Liam Neeson stars as an ex-government operative who's forced back into the field when his daughter is kidnapped in Paris. Maggie Grace plays the obligatory hot daughter while Famke Janssen is almost unrecognizable as Liam's bitchy ex-wife. Despite Neeson's advancing years (he's 57 now), his early days as an amateur boxer serves him well here and the action is fast paced. Good movie.

HBO, 8 p.m.

8
. College Football
Nebraska at Texas.
ABC, 8 p.m.

9
. Obsessed
Idris Elba (Stringer Bell from The Wire) stars as a smooth corporate executive and family man whose life spins out of control when a beautiful office temp turns into a temptress. Al Larter (Heroes) plays the obligatory hot temp while Beyonce Knowles also stars as Elba's obligatory hot wife. The film is as predictable as it gets, but the eye candy is sweet and the final 'cat fight' between Larter and Knowles is worthy of the WWE.

Starz, 9 p.m.

10. Saturday Night Live (new)
Blake Lively hosts (and hawks Gossip Girl) while Rihanna will deliver a musical interlude or two.
