That's according to an article by Zap2It.com.
The web site reports that the Sci-Fi Channel has obtained the rights to carry both Ghost and Star Trek: TNG in the fall of 2009.
The shows are expected to be introduced in HD during full-day marathons and mini-marathons on Sci Fi's high-def simulcast channel.
"The paranormal is very popular with our audience, as evidenced by the huge success of our original series Ghost Hunters and Ghost Hunters International..." said Sci-Fi's Thomas Vitale "As part of Sci Fi's primetime lineup, Ghost Whisperer will appeal to our existing audience, while bringing in new viewers, including more women."

Jennifer Love Hewitt of Ghost Whisperer
Along with Trek, Ghost Whisperer, which stars Jennifer Love Hewitt, will also likely attract more high-def viewers, many of whom have complained that many Sci-Fi HD shows now are actually not in high-def; the SD programs are stretched to fit the widescreen.
