Retailers traditionally offer deep discounts on the day after Thanksgiving (Nov. 28), better known as Black Friday, the unofficial start of the holiday shopping season.
In addition to the $179 Sony Blu-ray player (model BDP-S350), Sears is expected to sell a Samsung Blu-ray player for $199.
