But which shows should you watch?
Every day here at TVPredictions.com, I scan the HD programming aisles and serve up 10 programs so good -- so hot! -- that you can't miss them.
We call this list, "The Hottest Shows in HDTV!" And here they are for Sunday, March 30, 2008: (All times Eastern; smart remarks are the opinion of the author alone.)
1. NBA Basketball
Houston at San Antonio..
ABC, 1 p.m.
2. NASCAR Racing
Sunday, Sunday! It's the Goody's Cool Orange 500 from Martinsville, Va.
Fox, 1:30 p.m.
3. College Basketball
March Madness continues...and continues...and continues.
CBS, 2 p.m.
4. MLB Baseball
Atlanta at Washington. The debut of new Nationals Stadium with President George Bush scheduled to throw out the first ball. At his age, let's hope he doesn't throw out his back, too.
ESPN, 8 p.m.
5. Battleground -- The Art of War
Reviewing the battle techniques of Alexander the Great -- hey, if he was so great, why did he lose?
Discovery's HD Theater, 8 p.m.

6. The Tudors
It's a
double-shot of our boy Henry. Back-to-back 60-minute
episodes. Tonight, Cardinal Wolsley continues to flounder
worse than any Cardinal since Jim Edmonds in the 2004 Series
-- and Henry makes himself the head of the Church of
England. Well, that will get the babes!
Showtime, 8 p.m.
7. John Adams
Part four in the seven-part series on the life of American
revolutionary John Adams. Tonight, Mr. A recovers from his
illness, reunites with Mrs. A in Paris, watches the Colonial
Army smack down the Brits and considers a position in the
new government. All in one hour? Wow!
HBO, 9 p.m.
8. Cold
Case
(new episode)
Kathryn
Morris gets the skinny (and, boy, is she skinny!) on a deaf
teen who's been missing since 2006. Missing since 2006?
Sounds more like a Lukewarm Case, not a Cold Case.
CBS, 9 p.m.
9. Dexter
(new
episode)
The squad identifies
the Ice Truck Killer.
CBS, 10 p.m.
10.
The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance
John Wayne and Jimmy Stewart star in the John Ford epic
western about a 1880s town trying to overcome its violent
traditions. Lee Marvin gives the performance of his life as
the evil Liberty and the Duke shows he can act as the
antiquated gunslinger Tom Donovan. Great flick, folks.
HDNet Movies, 10 p.m.
