Swanni's 2008 Predictions: Best Year Ever For HDTV Owners!
The high-def guru makes his fifth prediction.

By the end of 2008, every major cable, satellite and Telco TV operator will carry at least 100 High-Definition channels. The reason: they have decided that expanding HD programming is the best way to keep current customers -- and attract new ones. Plus, the competition between the three categories will push them to offer high-def.
Consequently, the TV providers will move Heaven and Earth to offer more high-def programming in 2008, Swanni predicts.
Verizon and DIRECTV, Swanni notes, already have promised 150 HD channels by the end of 2008. But he says the cable TV operators will invest heavily to keep pace.
So, he concludes, 2008 will be the best year ever for a high-def owner. The HD viewer will have more channel options than he will know what to do with.
If you haven't purchased a high-def set, Swanni says, get one now because next year will be a glory year for the HD owner.
