Washington, D.C. (November 21, 2007) -- High-Definition TVs are now in roughly 30 million U.S. homes and there are dozens of high-def programming choices.

But which shows should you watch?

But now I have compiled the 50 hottest shows for the rest of the holiday week -- including today (Wednesday), the Thanksgiving holiday and the entire weekend.

And it's a great holiday week -- complete with Turkey day football, classic movies, college basketball and several new primetime episodes of your favorite shows.

So here are the 50 Hottest Shows in HDTV for November 21 through November 25, starting with Wednesday, November 21. (All times Eastern; and smart remarks are the opinion of the author only.)

Wednesday, November 21

1. NBA Basketball
The Dallas Mavericks visit the Houston Rockets. Go, Dirk!
ESPN, 7:30 p.m.

2. Pushing Daisies
The man who can bring the dead back to life with the touch of a single finger investigates a scratch-and-sniff book that explodes and kills a man. Hmm, smells fishy all right.
ABC, 8 p.m.

3. Back to You
Chuck tries to convince everyone that he's a responsible person. Huh-uh.
Fox, 8 p.m.

4. The Return
Sarah Michelle Geller, the Jamie Lee Curtis of the New Millenium, plays a young woman haunted by a 15-year-old murder. Creepy, scary stuff.
HBO, 8 p.m.

5. Criminal Minds
Garcia is targeted by a serial killer. What would CBS primetime do without those wacky serial killers?
CBS, 9 p.m.
