Washington, D.C. (February 28, 2008) -- High-Definition TVs are now in roughly 30 million U.S. homes and there are scores of high-def programming choices.

But which shows should you watch?

Every day here at TVPredictions.com, I scan the HD programming aisles and serve up 10 programs so good -- so hot! -- that you can't miss them.

We call this list, "The Hottest Shows in HDTV!" And here they are for Thursday, February 28, 2008: (All times Eastern; smart remarks are the opinion of the author alone.)

1. Storytellers
Coldplay, led by lead singer Mr. Gwyneth Paltrow (Chris Martin), warble some tunes, including Clocks.
MHD, 8 p.m.

2. American Idol
Four contestants get the heave-ho.
Fox, 8 p.m.

3. Lost (repeat)
Did you miss last week's episode? Here it is. Kate double-crosses Locke (again) and knocks boots with the double-crossing Sawyer.
ABC, 8 p.m.

4. NHL Hockey
Chicago vs. Dallas.
HDNet, 8:30 p.m.

5. Lost (new episode)
Sayid and Desmond don't quite make it to the rescue ship. Why? Because there are at least two more seasons left, silly.
ABC, 9 p.m.
