November 26: Swanni's 10 Hottest Shows In HDTV!

Washington, D.C. (November 26, 2009) -- High-Definition TVs are now in more than 40 million U.S. homes and there are scores of high-def programming choices.

But which shows should you watch? And why?

Every day here at TVPredictions.com, I scan the HD programming aisles and serve up 10 programs so good -- so hot! -- that you can't miss them. Sports, movies, primetime comedies and drama -- they're all there and in beautiful high-def.

We call this list, "The Hottest Shows in HDTV!" And here they are for Thursday, November 26, 2009: (All times Eastern -- and don't forget the link below to today's 'HD Hottie -- in fact, today there are 3 of them!

1. Band of Brothers Marathon
Spike is airing all eight parts of of the Emmy-winning 2001 HBO miniseries featuring the everyman soldiers who helped America win World War II. Produced by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg, it's classic TV.
Spike, 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.

. College Basketball Doubleheader
Creighton vs. Michigan in the Old Spice Classic. Second game: Marquette vs. Xavier.
ESPN, Noon.

. NFL Football
Green Bay at Detroit.
Fox, 12:30 p.m.

4.  Pearl Harbor
Ben Affleck and Josh Hartnett ham it up as best friends who battle the Japanese on that fateful day more than 60 years ago. The Michael Bay directed film is scattered and preachy (much like Bay himself), but the CGI-fueled battle scenes at Pearl Harbor are breathtaking and well worth your time. Kate Beckinsale plays an obligatory hot nurse and love interest.

5. NFL Football
Oakland at Dallas.

CBS, 4 p.m.

Clemson vs Texas A&M in the 76 Classic.

8. Night at the Museum
Ben Stiller stars as a night watchman in a history museum
where the exhibits magically come to life
. Frothy but fun with Stiller sidekick Owen Wilson on board as a miniature cowboy. Carla Gugino plays Ben's obligatory hot love interest. Old hands Dick Van Dyke and Mickey Rooney shine as ex-watchmen who may be able to unlock the secrets of the museum.

Tonight's guests include the great Paul Reubens as Pee Wee Herman.
NBC, 11:35 p.m.
