Dec. 18: Swanni's 10 Hottest Shows In HDTV!

Washington, D.C. (December 18, 2008) -- High-Definition TVs are now in more than 30 million U.S. homes and there are scores of high-def programming choices.

But which shows should you watch? And why?

Every day here at TVPredictions.com, I scan the HD programming aisles and serve up 10 programs so good -- so hot! -- that you can't miss them. Sports, movies, primetime comedies and drama -- they're all there and in beautiful high-def.

We call this list, "The Hottest Shows in HDTV!" And here they are for Thursday, December 18, 2008: (All times Eastern -- and don't forget the link below to today's 'HD Hottie -- in fact, today there are three of them!


1. College Basketball
Evansville at North Carolina.

2. NBA Basketball

3. My Name Is Earl (repeat)
Joy becomes obsessed with winning a prize at the local science fair. If she puts her scientifically-enhanced body on display, she might just win.

6. Crank

8. House of Saddam
No, it's not a documentary on your neighborhood carpet store. It's a four-part docudrama on the Butcher of Baghdad himself! Tonight, parts three and four. And if I recall correctly, Saddam himself will become parts by the time the series ends.

9. NBA Basketball
Phoenix at Portland.
TNT, 10:30 p.m.


10. The Tonight Show With Jay Leno (new)
Tonight's guest: Adam Sandler who wanders by to hawk his new film, Bedtime Stories.
