That's according to an article in the Raleigh News-Observer.
Due to increased sales of HDTVs during the 2006 holidays, demand for the boxes caught Time Warner and its set-top supplier, Scientific-Atlanta, off guard.
A week ago, it appeared that many North Carolina subscribers (and many more Time Warner subscribers in other states) would be unable to watch the big game in high-def.
But Time Warner says the set-tops are in and they are moving fast to install them before the game.

The News-Observer writes that's great news for high-def owners in North Carolina.
"My husband was very disappointed," Joyce McKinney of Durham told the newspaper when learning a week ago that Time Warner had run out of set-tops.

Time Warner fans can watch Peyton Manning in HD.
The newspaper reports that Time Warner's Raleigh office has received 11,000 orders for high-def service since December 1 -- almost triple the number a year ago.
The cable operator says it will be flexible in scheduling installations before the game.
"If a customer says the only time they can have an installation is 10 p.m. Saturday, we're going to send someone out at 10 o'clock on a Saturday night," Time Warner vice president Brad Phillips told the newspaper.
