The Toshiba 37-inch
Regza 37LX96, which also comes with a DVD player inside,
could be your answer, according to Consumer Reports.
In a recent review, the publication says the flat-panel
LCD offers "excellent picture quality for HD video and
very good picture quality for the progressive-scan DVD
and standard definition."

The review notes that the set, which retails for around
$2,000, does not display in 1080p. But it says the TV
offers crisp detail and excellent contrast "that makes
images jump off the screen."
