By Swanni

Washington, D.C. (November 25, 2008) -- High-Definition TVs are now in more than 30 million U.S. homes and there are scores of high-def programming choices.

But which shows should you watch? And why?

Every day here at TVPredictions.com, I scan the HD programming aisles and serve up 10 programs so good -- so hot! -- that you can't miss them. Sports, movies, primetime comedies and drama -- they're all there and in beautiful high-def.

We call this list, "The Hottest Shows in HDTV!" And here they are for Tuesday, November 25, 2008: (All times Eastern -- and don't forget the link below to today's 'HD Hottie -- in fact, today there are six of them!

1. College Football
Navy at Northern Michigan.
ESPN 2, 7 p.m.

2. House (new)
Program descript: "A man (Zeljko Ivanek) takes House, Thirteen (Olivia Wilde) and a number of patients hostage in Cuddy's office and demands a diagnosis." Well, I can give him one right now. You're crazy, buddy. By the way, isn't this about the fourth show this season that has used the 'take hostages at a hospital and demand medical care' storyline? And aren't they all just stealing from the Denzel Washington movie, John Q?
See our 'HD Hottie' profile of House's Olivia Wilde.
Fox, 8 p.m.

3. NCIS (new)
Gibbs and his Naval security team is forced to rely on questionable sources to stop a criminal. Sounds like they are getting their briefings from the CIA.

CBS, 8 p.m.

4. Dan Rather Reports (new)
The veteran newsman investigates Bolivian farmers who grow coca plans to make cocaine. Don't investigate too closely, Dan. One whiff and you'll be asking what's the frequency.
HDNet, 8 p.m.

5. The Bourne Ultimatum
Matt Damon stars in the third in the trilogy about a contract assassin who battles bouts of amnesia while hired gunmen are trying to kill him.
And you think you're having a tough Monday?
See our "HD Hottie' profile of BU's Julia Stiles
HBO, 8 p.m.

6. Dancing With the Stars
This is it! The final episode of the season! Thank God!
Well, K
im Kardashian got her butt kicked -- and what a butt it is -- but she's out of the competition. Brooke Burke, Rocket Man Lance Bass and Warren Sapp's big butt will have to keep viewers glued to their seats tonight when one contestant is declared a dancing winner!

ABC, 9 p.m.

7
. Fringe (new)
The team investigates a Massive Dynamic employee who thinks he's being attacked by butterflies. Now that's wacky. Even wackier, note the start time below; House gets eight extra minutes tonight for that plot they swiped from John Q.

Fox, 9:08 p.m.

8
. The Mentalist (new)
Program descript: "Patrick disagrees with authorities that a drug dealer is behind a series of murders." I think the Mentalist has gone mental.
CBS, 9 p.m.

9
. Without a Trace (new)
A man disappears after attending a funeral. Well, they might not want to fill those holes yet.
CBS, 10 p.m.
