Dec. 9: Swanni's 10 Hottest Shows In HDTV!

Washington, D.C. (December 9, 2008) -- High-Definition TVs are now in more than 30 million U.S. homes and there are scores of high-def programming choices.

But which shows should you watch? And why?

Every day here at TVPredictions.com, I scan the HD programming aisles and serve up 10 programs so good -- so hot! -- that you can't miss them. Sports, movies, primetime comedies and drama -- they're all there and in beautiful high-def.

We call this list, "The Hottest Shows in HDTV!" And here they are for Tuesday, December 9, 2008: (All times Eastern -- and don't forget the link below to today's 'HD Hottie -- in fact, today there are seven of them!


1. College Basketball
Davidson at West Virginia.
ESPN, 7 p.m.

2. House (new)
Program descript: "Cuddy receives an unexpected gift." Hopefully it's a new name. Don't agree. How would you like to be called...Cuddy?!

Fox, 8 p.m.

3. 90210 (repeat)
No, it's not a documentary on the total number of viewers for your average CW show. It's a return of everyone's frothy fave from the 1990s, Beverly Hills 90210. Tonight,
Annie (Shenae Grimes) and Ethan plan to attend the homecoming dance without officially making it a date. Meanwhile, Adrianna is forced to go to drug rehab.

4. Dan Rather Reports
The veteran newsman investigates pollution in the
Galapagos Islands.

. Disturbia
Shia LaBeouf stars as a troubled teen who thinks he sees a murder next door in this modern day remake of Rear Window. The film is targeted at the teen set, but it delivers plenty of thrills for all. Sarah Roemer plays the obligatory hot next-door neighbor/girlfriend.

10. The Tonight Show With Jay Leno
Tonight's guest: Kate Beckinsale wanders by to hawk her latest film, Nothing But the Truth.
