But which shows should you watch? And why?

Every day here at TVPredictions.com, I scan the HD programming aisles and serve up 10 programs so good -- so hot! -- that you can't miss them. Sports, movies, primetime comedies and drama -- they're all there and in beautiful high-def.

Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning star in this fast-paced, edgy docudrama about the 1980s all-female rock band that launched the careers of Joan Jett and Lita Ford. Fanning steals the movie with her uncompromising portrayal of the ill-fated lead singer, Cherie Currie.

ABC's quest to prove it can be just as trashy as Jeff Zucker's NBC continues tonight with its latest game show in which contestants are smacked, bopped and slammed into various bodies of water. Tonight, the network says female contestants will take on the Plank in the Face (sorry, ladies), the Beauty Bar (It's not a soap) and the Trampoline Sweeper. Speaking of ladies, the show is co-hosted by Jill Wagner (pictured), the star of those (once) endless commercials for Mercury automobiles.

8. The Informant
Matt Damon shines as real life corporate whistle blower Mark Whitacre who decided to wet his own whistle when no one was looking. Directed by Steven Soderbergh, the film's account of the Archer Daniels Midland price fixing scandal of the 1990s is sometimes a bit corny (pun intended), but is still entertaining from beginning to end. Don't miss the closing credits; you'll never believe what Whitacre is doing now.

9 Late Night With David Letterman (new)

10. The Tonight Show With Jay Leno (new)
