Washington, D.C. (June 30, 2009) -- High-Definition TVs are now in more than 30 million U.S. homes and there are scores of high-def programming choices.

But which shows should you watch? And why?

Every day here at TVPredictions.com, I scan the HD programming aisles and serve up 10 programs so good -- so hot! -- that you can't miss them. Sports, movies, primetime comedies and drama -- they're all there and in beautiful high-def.

We call this list, "The Hottest Shows in HDTV!" And here they are for Tuesday, June 30, 2009: (All times Eastern -- and don't forget the link below to today's 'HD Hottie -- in fact, today there are 5 of them!

1. Tennis: Wimbledon
Women's quarterfinals.

NBC, 10 a.m.

2. Legally Blonde
Reese Witherspoon stars as a prissy sorority Queen who enrolls in Harvard to impress her former boyfriend. Of course, it doesn't take long for Reese to discover that true love can be found elsewhere on campus in the person of Luke Wilson. The predictable plot, though, is lifted by strong performances from both Witherspoon and Wilson. Salma Blair also delivers the funny as a stuck-up student, the role she was born to play.

Fox, 8 p.m.

3. Dan Rather Reports
Conservative media watchdog alert! The veteran journalist probes why more Americans are buying guns to defend themselves.
HDNet, 8 p.m.

4. 90210
Naomi refuses to accept her parents' divorce, or so says the program descript. Naomi, sweetie, it's Beverly Hills, where divorce is legally required.

5. HDNet World Report (new)
Tonight the high-def investigators examine several hard-hitting topics including one I am quite familiar with: "Can the Chesapeake Bay Be Saved?" As someone who lives just a five-minute walk away from the Bay, I can answer that question right now: No.

6. Hawthorne (new)
Jada Pinkett Smith plays Christina, the chief nursing officer at a big city hospital. You know, President Obama's right. We do need health care reform -- in the TV industry! Another hospital drama? Dear God! Tonight, Ray tries to spend more time with Candy; that's a woman, not a reflection of some chocolate obsession.

7. Saving Grace (new)
The team searches for the bomber of Grace's brother's church. Jeez, lots of possessives in that sentence.

8. Jumper
Hayden Christensen stars as a young man who can transport himself anywhere in the world. Even more amazing, he's not charged a second bag fee. Samuel L. Jackson, Rachel Bilson and Diane Lane shine in support.

9. The Tonight Show With Conan O'Brien
