Washington, D.C. (October 28, 2008) -- Time Warner says it will add 20 new High-Definition channels in the North Carolina market, starting Wednesday.
The new channels to be added now include: Speed HD, BIO, Discovery Channel, ESPNU, Planet Green, CNN, Disney Channel, History, Animal Planet, ABC Family, Lifetime, ESPNews, Learning Channel, FSNS HD, Cinemax E, Cinemax W, Starz! and The Movie Channel.
Time Warner says the new channels will give the cable operator roughly 50 HD channels in the North Carolina area.
In the next several weeks, Time Warner is expected to add more channels there, including The Weather Channel, FX and Hallmark HD.
